BRETHREN, these lessons read to you will explain what revelations we have to make to you. The world does not know the meaning of Christ and Jesus. Even the members of Brotherhood do not know the meaning of Christ. Most churches are expecting him to be born in their midst, to be one of their Bishops or Popes or Priests. Who rules now, Churches or Government? We are witnesses that the authority and the ruler of the town is the Government. When a new denomination is to be established in any town, the chief or Government is consulted for permission to establish.
Brethren, our gospel this afternoon is about the “Cross”. After that celebrated gospel on: “What is Brotherhood,” during the Pentecostal Convention, many had thought that the gospel on Cross and Star would follow. But since my Father did not give the signal throughout the convention that I should do so, I could not do anything more than to allow His will to prevail. This afternoon Brethren, it is His pleasure to give the signal that I continue. Therefore, I shall be failing in my duty as His mouthpiece, if I do not give you the gospel on ‘Cross’ today.
Dear Brethren, we want to reveal an important thing to you today. The three lessons will give you an
idea of what we are going to reveal. So please, Brethren, be attentive.
You may say that you know what Brotherhood means, but we know from our hearts that no one knows what Brotherhood means. People have given it many meanings. It is as a result of these misconceptions that we have decided to take this opportunity to preach this Gospel. Therefore, today shall go down in history as a great day, a day of revelation, a day that Brotherhood was revealed to the world.
Gen 1 vs 26 : “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,….”. Original Hebrew form of likeness is “דְּמוּת” meaning similitude. The physical appearance of man is therefore of God (Gen 1 vs. 27) and when the word is put in the image, that image is God (John 1: 1-14).
God came face to face with Jacob and Jacob touched his Hands (Gen: 32 vs. 30). When the word is not in the image of man, man cannot see God (Exodus 33: 20). However, when he puts his word in the image of man, He becomes man Himself. Moses therefore spoke to God face to face (Exodus 33: 11, 20-23).
Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is the word made flesh (Rev 12:5, ) a fulfilment of a divine promise by Our Lord Jesus Christ (John 14: 15-16). As the word Himself, he has come to sanctify the world with His words (John 17:6-8), change man from sin to righteousness and establish absolute righteousness by setting up God’s Kingdom a fulfilment of the third and last covenant between God and man (Heb 10: 16-17).
